Autism and Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy can help support the development of many life skills and increase participation in meaningful activities for autistic kids. Some of those skill areas include sensory processing, executive functioning (like starting and completing tasks), school readiness, dressing, feeding, hygiene, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation. We also frequently work on gross motor, fine motor, and visual motor skills.

Our neurodiversity-affirming approach is the main reason why parents trust us with their kids. Focusing on the child's strengths and building upon them is crucial for fostering trust, respect, and success with our clients.

We recommend scheduling a free, 20-minute consultation no matter where you are in your journey of discovering how occupational therapy can positively impact your child's daily life.
Schedule Parent Consultation
Occupational Therapy is often a new concept for our clients. We recommend starting with a free 20-minute call no matter where you are in your journey of learning about or signing up for occupational therapy.
We currently accept Medicaid, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Anthem/BCBS. While we are not in-network with Aetna, we will submit claims to them on your behalf through your out-of-network benefits. Some of our insurance contracts limit us to being able to offer only 30-minute sessions. If this applies to you, we offer the option to schedule additional time in 30-minute increments at our self-pay rate. If we do not currently accept your insurance, we will provide you with documentation needed to get a partial reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

During the call, we will discuss your child, their needs, and how OT might be able to help. We will also talk through our neurodiversity-affirming approach and will answer any questions you may have.
